At RJTuning we can offer a stage 1 and 2 Remapping of your Vehicle.A remap consists of us accessing data on your ECU and adapting values that can increase power and throttle response , this giving bettter fuel economy. Using all the latest software we can remap your vehicle at your home or workplace or even a destination of your choice.

As we prodvide a Custom Remap we can also delete error codes and make adjustments to EGR,DPF and other areas that have been adjusted.

The Work Involved?
Most of the cars we do can be Remapped via the obd port, this to the cutomer is called the diagnostic port located inside the car, we can plug into this port and take the data from the ECU once we have this data we can then proffessionaly tune the ECU.

Most cars as a safety measure we will stablise the battery of the vehicle to prevent ECU damage and engine health checks are carried Pre-Programming.
I was Told I Have Tune Protect?
There is no such thing as tuning protects not allowing the ECU to be Remapped, however it does not allow the OBD port to be used for the process.

As our Remapping prices are fixed we Charge a set fee for the removal of a ECU no matter what car and location of the ECU.

once we have the ECU of the vehicle we can then programme direct to the ECU motherboard known as benching.
What Else Do I Get?
Most Leading Remapping Companies will do the work on the basis that you accept the car is in good mechanical order, we appreciate you are not a mechanic in some cases and we dont offer mechanic work, however we do carry on board diagnostics incase there is a underline issue.

Should we come across a job that has a error that we can not recitfy we wont coniue and no charge will be made , we will then provide you with the details of the diagnostic log for you to take to your favourite repair centre.
